I'm Nicolette.
I am utterly devoted to the sunrise.
I also like to think of myself as a dreamy home built on a beautifully expansive landscape.
Every part of my life exists together like a different room, part, or patch winding through the property. It feels as though I got the keys a few years ago and have only just acquired the tools, resources, courage, and heart to begin restoring it according to the vision I've always carried.
So yes, there is construction happening with no shortage of mess. (This site is still in big overhaul mode.)
But that's only because there is so much life, vision, and possibility being built here.
One other thing.
This is not a magazine-perfect home. This is a lived-in home.
The kind with beautiful couches that have been sat on, kitchens full of people, art supplies left out, books stacked in random corners, muddy shoes from adventures, family gatherings, laughter, tears, celebrations, and evidence that someone is actually living here.
A beautiful life isn't the most perfect one. It's the one that's truly yours and is home to you.
